The Tetra Tech International Development Scholarship Application Form

Tetra Tech International Development is an international company specialising in engineering, geotechnical, environmental, testing and project management services. Tetra Tech International Development delivers technical expertise in the transport and property infrastructure, and energy and resources sectors. Tetra Tech’s International Development team delivers complex projects in regions faced with a range of challenges in partnerships with local organisations and other global professionals.  

The Tetra Tech International Development Scholarships have been established by the University of Adelaide and Tetra Tech International Development to support up to six students who are undertaking a program of study in a relevant undergraduate field of study of International Development, including Honours, at the University. The Scholarship is financial support for the student to help meet costs, including travel, accommodation, living and other, related to undertaking the internship placement at Tetra Tech International Development.

Scholarship round deadlines:

Please note, there are no further Tetra Tech International Development Scholarships available for the remainder of 2023. The application portal will open again when future scholarships become available.

  • Semester 1 Undergraduate Scholarship round: closed
  • Semester 2 Honours Scholarship round: to be confirmed
  • Winter school Undergraduate Scholarship round: no winter school scholarships will be offered in 2024
  • Semester 2 Undergraduate Scholarship round: applications close 7 June 2024
  • Summer School Undergraduate Scholarship round: to be confirmed

Please note, if your application is submitted after the specified scholarship application round, it will not be accepted. It is still possible to apply for other scholarship rounds in the given year if you wish to do so. 

  • With the exception of the Summer School Undergraduate Scholarship round, applications must be submitted within the same academic year that the scholarship is undertaken.
  • Recipients of the undergraduate scholarships must enrol in the relevant 6-unit Tetra Tech International Internship course. The Scholarships cannot be granted for 3 unit internship courses.
  • This Scholarship is only available to students undertaking the Bachelor of International Development at undergraduate level or the Honours Degree of Bachelor of International Development or the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Arts (International Development) HBARTS (DEVT) at Honours level.

Application form

Students undertaking 75% of a full course load are considered to be enrolled on a full time basis.

For applicants who are enrolled in program at The University of Adelaide, an ‘unofficial’ University of Adelaide transcript can be downloaded from Access Adelaide. Students who wish to provide a transcript from prior learning at another institution must provide a certified copy of the original that shows the Grade Point Average (GPA).

  • If there is more than one applicant shortlisted for a scholarship in the relevant time period, applicants may be asked to provide further information to support their application which may include an interview.
  • If you are successful in obtaining an undergraduate scholarship you must enrol in the Tetra Tech International Development Internship course for the relevant study period that the scholarship has been awarded for.
  • If you are successful in obtaining an Honours level Scholarship you must enrol in the Honours International Development Thesis course in semester 2 of your Honours year.

I understand that if I am awarded the scholarship and the University of Adelaide at any time thereafter forms the reasonable view that my application included false or misleading information or documentation, I authorise the University of Adelaide to obtain such additional information deemed necessary to assess my application for this scholarship.
