MBA Boot Camp

The MBA Fundamentals of Leadership students were put through their paces this week at a local army barracks.
Our students were being assessed on the military planning tool SMEAC, which stands for Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration and Logistics and Communication Plan. Leading the assessment team in the beautiful weather were Professor Noel Lindsay (Dean of Business School), Associate Professor Gary Bowman (Director, Adelaide MBA), Lorraine Caruso (FOL Coordinator and MBA Online Manager), Tania Turner (Business School Manager), Jacqui Stockley (ABLE Project Manager).
Our students were put into simulated obstacle courses, that included terrorist attacks in Paris, navigating minefields, and humanitarian supply drops in Africa. It was an amazing opportunity for our students to be taught by ex-SAS soldier and Middle East Security Contractor Matthew Jones and to start their MBA journey in this intensive boot camp. Not even the cold, wind and rain could dampen the enthusiasm of the group!
