-
Clash management rules for lectures
Clashes with lecture components will be permitted based on the following policies:
- Attendance at lectures should not be a condition of passing a course (Assessment for coursework program policy item 1.c. under procedures)
- All lectures should be recorded (Schedule C to the CAPP)
What this means for you:
- You are encouraged to set up components other than lectures (eg. assessments, seminars, workshops) that capture the requirement for attendance more accurately. This can be done annually in preparation for future teaching. Please speak to the timetabling team about this.
- Please ensure assessments during lectures are very clearly communicated to students.
- You will need to seek exemption for recording of lectures from the Executive Dean as per the Schedule C to the CAPP policy item 2.
