On 30 August, Prof Rachel Ankeny gave a keynote address at the 12th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in the Life Sciences, held in Canada. In her presentation, she combined philosophy and history of science to argue for greater reflection on the 'repertoires' associated with NAMs (new approach methodologies) for furthering the 3Rs agenda associated with animal experimentation.
