Program Overview
Proudly presented by the School of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide, the 2024 Porous Boundaries Forum was held on Monday 11 November.
Collaboration Showcases
Our collaboration showcase experiences are designed to provide an insight into the breadth and depth of research undertaken in the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics. Presented by our internationally recognised staff, you will gain an insight into the projects our researchers are currently, or have previously, collaborated on covering a deeply diverse range of subject matter. The day will feature two showcases featuring four themes:
- Improving outcomes for 'at-risk' young people (morning session)
- Growing South Australian businesses (morning session)
- Advancing health for Australians (afternoon session)
- Supporting Aboriginal languages and communities (afternoon session)
Creative Solutions Workshops: What’s your challenge?
With ideas starting to formulate about what might be possible, the Creative Solutions workshops provide an opportunity to explore the unique challenges you may be facing in your company or organisation and tailor solutions to fit – all expertly guided by an experienced group facilitator. The more you share about your specific problems or interests when registering for the event, the better we will be able to align you with a team that is right for you. The workshops for each theme directly follow the Collaboration Showcase.
Networking Opportunities
There will be opportunities throughout the day to connect with our researchers, facilitators and other forum attendees, including during the scheduled networking session at the end of the day.
