About Porous Boundaries
Fast becoming a highlight of the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics (ABLE) calendar, the Porous Boundaries Forum provides an opportunity to showcase new ways of thinking in research and industry collaborations.
The event, now in its second year, is designed to bring researchers from across the social sciences, humanities, law, business and economics into concert with anyone offering services to people. You might be a government organisation, local council, an Indigenous organisation, a legal group, a school, a community group, or a business entity – this event is for you. The purpose of the forum is to deliver a range of valuable tools and services to help business, community groups and government utilise expert research to elevate the delivery of services to clients. We’d love to offer attendance at the forum, along with these tools and services at no cost to you.
Our researchers can work within and across an extremely broad range of issues and topics. This year, we’ve narrowed down four key themes which we hope may be of most interest to you in the challenges you face today:
- Improving outcomes for ‘at risk’ young people
- Growing South Australian businesses
- Advancing health for Australians
- Supporting Aboriginal languages and communities
Working with our researchers as trusted advisors can give you a worthwhile competitive advantage. We want to make sure that working with us is both easy and cost effective – the Forum is the first step in that process.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the Porous Boundaries Forum 2024!
