31st Australia New Zealand Econometric Study Group Meeting

Background and goals
The annual meetings of ANZESG in Australia and New Zealand are regular forums that provide a supportive environment for econometricians and applied economists to get together, to present their work and to discuss econometrics. Since its inception, key features of ANZESG meetings have been collegial interaction with scheduled discussants for presented papers, time for floor discussion, combinations of theory and empirics, and awards to recognize young scholars.
Call for papers

We invite submissions from those wishing to present a paper, which can be in any field of econometrics, theoretical or applied, including empirical analyses of issues in any field of economics or finance.
- Submission deadline is Friday 18 August 2023 for full papers if available or extended abstracts.
- Papers should be submitted in PDF to: anzesg2023@adelaide.edu.au.
- Successful authors will be notified by Friday 1 September 2023.
- Registration deadline: Friday 15 September 2023
- Full papers will be required (subject to acceptance) by Friday 6 October 2023 so they can be made available to discussants.
- Full program will be made available by Friday 13 October 2023.
Awards
We will be presenting awards to young/emerging econometricians based on their research and presentation at the meeting.
To qualify for an award, researchers should either be working towards a PhD or have completed doctoral research within the past two years. Please let us know when you make your submission whether you wish to be considered for these awards.
