Research Network on Countering Violent Extremism inaugural talk: 'Working with Extremists and Terrorist Offenders: Research and Practice' by John Young.

John Young is the Manager for the Inclusion Support Program (ISP), within the Exceptional Needs Unit, SA Department of Human Services.

He has been responsible for the design, implementation and growth of the ISP.

He is a well-regarded practitioner, policy maker, leader, and researcher in countering violent extremism and champions connection and collaboration.

He is currently completing his PhD centred on the criminology of Australian males attracted to violent and extreme right-wing ideologies at the University of Queensland.
