Faculty of Arts appoints new Professor of Public Policy, Adam Graycar
The Faculty of Arts this month welcomes Adam Graycar as Professor of Public Policy.
Professor Graycar joins the Faculty having previously held professorial positions at Flinders University, the National University of Singapore, the Australian National University, Rutgers the State University of New Jersey, and the University of New South Wales. While at ANU, he was also Director of the Research School of Social Sciences and founder of the Transnational Research Institute on Corruption.
He is the author of some 250 scholarly publications and is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. He also has 22 years’ experience as a senior government official with both the South Australian and Commonwealth governments
Professor Graycar’s appointment is part of University’s commitment under Future Making strategy to invest and develop talent across key areas of the University. Developing capacity and engagement across a range of policy domains and strengthening our linkages with government and industry will be a priority.
