Illustratio: Adelaide Journal of Politics and International Relations Publication

The student-run Politics and International Relations Association (PIRA) has published the first issue of their journal "Illustratio: Adelaide Journal of Politics and International Relations".

This is a fantastic achievement that owes much to the tireless commitment of its Editor-in-Chief, recent BIntStd and LLB graduate, Courtney Bristow. Courtney managed the editorial process expertly, did an amazing job with the layout, and wrote an excellent Editorial that includes a passionate defense of the Arts. She was assisted by three student editors (Lazaras Panayiotou, Scott Hanel, and Nidhi Venkatesan), as well as by Dr Benito Cao, who selected the nine papers and wrote the Introduction. The papers came from this year's edition of Global Environmental Politics, a course taught over many years by Prof Tim Doyle (who deserves credit for designing the assignment that led to the production of this fantastic set of essays), but taught this year by Dr Benito Cao. Last but not least, credit must go to Dr Adela Alfonsi, the tutor in this course, whose substantial feedback on the students' presentations (that were the basis for the essays) contributed enormously to generate a large number of outstanding essays that made it possible to dedicate the whole first issue of the journal to the theme of Global Environmental Politics. To everyone involved in the project, including the nine student-authors: Congratulations!
