Congratulations Adelaide Graduate Award recipients!

Kristen

Congratulations to Faculty of Arts student Kristen Lucas for recently achieving the Adelaide Graduate Award.

The Award formally recognises students for developing employability skills through extra-curricular activities (including paid work and volunteering).

Kristen, who studied a Bachelor of Media and Bachelor of International Studies, found the Adelaide Graduate Award to be a rewarding experience.

“The biggest benefit for me was getting to meet and work with new people through a range of different social, cultural and creative experiences.”

“The Award helped me step out of my comfort zone and increase my self-awareness. Participating in activities for the Award, I was able to identify my personal and professional strengths as well as working on developing the skills I was less comfortable with.”

“I truly think participating in the Award can be life changing! Not only is trying out different extra-curricular activities a lot of fun, but with each experience you will gain new skills and discover more about yourself and your future pathway.”

Congratulations to all 138 students who achieved the Adelaide Graduate Award in Semester 1!

The Adelaide Graduate Award is a free employability program that helps you get more out of your university experience through self-guided participation in volunteering, professional development, and paid work.
