Congratulations Adelaide Graduate Award recipients!
Congratulations to Master of Marketing student, Amy T. Han, and Master of International Management student, Rohan Goyal, for recently achieving the Adelaide Graduate Award.
The Award formally recognises students for developing employability skills through extra-curricular activities (including paid work and volunteering). Amy and Rohan balanced a variety of activities alongside their degrees and found the award program to be a rewarding experience.
I've gained a lot of skills and experiences outside of my studies through this program. Some are practical skills such as communication and networking skills that have boosted my confidence. Those skills enabled me to build my professional network, and they will be beneficial to my future career.
“I strongly encourage current students to enrol in the Adelaide Graduate Award program," said Amy. "It's beneficial for building your employability and also it acts like having a sprinkle of icing on the cake of your degree by the time you complete your study here at the University.”
I feel the activities I undertook made me a more confident individual, helped me develop my communication skills, and be a part of the community.
“I would recommend fellow students to participate in this award because it helps students learn a lot about themselves as they undertake various activities and interact with a range of individuals, while gaining experience and meaningful connections," Rohan said.
Congratulations to all 138 students who achieved the Adelaide Graduate Award in Semester 1!
The Adelaide Graduate Award is a free employability program that helps you get more out of your university experience through self-guided participation in volunteering, professional development, and work experience.
