Awakenings - a new season of the Concert Series from the Elder Conservatorium of Music

The Elder Conservatorium of Music welcomes you to Awakenings, our 2023 Concert Series in our newly reawakened Elder Hall.

We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to our Take a Seat campaign. Your support has not only given our beautiful home a new lease of life but is a much-valued vote of confidence from our community.

Our mission at the Elder Conservatorium of Music is to awaken the artistry of the next generation of musicians across the genres of classical, jazz, music theatre, composition, popular music, and sonic arts. But it is also to awaken future audiences and music-lovers. Our season’s theme speaks to music’s great power to awaken us all: emotionally, spiritually, sensually, intellectually.

Our program this year spans a wide range, and many of our performers will be well-known to our audiences, particularly the wonderful staff and student musicians from the Elder Conservatorium. It is a privilege to present acclaimed performers from around Australia and the world alongside the musicians of tomorrow. We hope our series awakens your curiosity and delight, and warmly invite you back to our spiritual home in the magnificent Elder Hall.
