Overleaf subscription live
Dear Colleagues,
Following the purchase of a site-wide licence by the Faculty of SET, staff and students across the University (available to any account that is @adelaide.edu.au) now have access to Overleaf for writing documents using Latex. The University Commons Overleaf subscription in now live. We encourage all staff who use Overleaf to switch to this subscription so that we can accurately capture the usage across the institution.
University of Adelaide is now providing access to Overleaf Professional for all staff and students who would like to use a collaborative, online LaTeX editor for their projects. Overleaf Professional features include real-time track changes, unlimited collaborators, and full document history.
Overleaf is designed to make the process of writing, editing and producing your research papers and project reports much quicker for both you and your collaborators. Overleaf can also be linked to other services to best fit into your workflow.
Instructions for accessing are as follows:
To access the University Commons Overleaf subscription, go to https://www.overleaf.com/edu/adelaide and select the "Log in with SSO" button. Once you authenticate, you should be asked to link with any existing Overleaf subscription. There are also a links to Quick Start guides as well as templates and FAQ & Help on the landing page to assist you get started.
The University subscription we are paying for includes support, so in the first instance people if people need support they should use the Overleaf contact form. Otherwise if the issue is University related, they can submit a request/question via the MyIT portal.
