Launching an Australian Healthy Housing Agenda
The Centre of Research Excellence for Healthy Housing will be officially launched on Wednesday 28 April 2021. The Centre is a national and international collaboration that aims to drive better housing and provide Australia with excellent new research. To officially launch the Centre, we're bringing together leading housing researchers to imagine a future where housing and health sit in the same policy room; where everyone can access affordable, warm, dry, safe and stable accommodation.

A New Era for Mental Health Care in Australia
Professor Emma Baker will be involved in a new national research translation centre to improve health outcomes for Australians with mental illness and reduce the individual, social and economic inequalities associated with current care. The centre will establish a national Academy of LIVed-Experience (ALIVE), ensuring members with experience of mental ill health are at the forefront of research to co-design and transform the mental health care system.

Emma Baker at Research Tuesdays: Well May We Dwell
Professor Emma Baker recently spoke at the University of Adelaide's March Research Tuesday Event on her research into health, housing, and efficiency. Emma was joined by Dr. Michael Fotheringham (Managing Director of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute AHURI) and Mr. Peter Koulizos (Program Director of the Master of Property at the University of Adelaide) for the presentation "Well May We Dwell".
