2020 End of Year University Closedown Period Update

Due to the University temporarily closing for business on the 18 December 2020 through to 10 January 2021, the Faculty of Arts is changing how our services are delivered in this period.

Faculty Office Opening Hours

The Art Student Support Office on the Ground Floor of the Napier building will be closed from 4pm, 17 December and will re-open at 10am, 11 January 2021.

General Enquiries

If you have any general enquiries, please check the ASK Adel knowledge base to search frequently asked questions. Ask Adelaide will be available via chat (10 am to 3.45 pm) and email enquiries during the closure period except for 25 December 2020 to 4 January 2021. Ask Adelaide will re-open full phone and face-to-face services in Hub Central from 11 January 2021.

Enrolment and Study Plan Support

Students seeking enrolment or study plan support are advised to refer to the Study Plans webpage first.  If you still require enrolment assistance, email arts@adelaide.edu.au, and will receive support upon staff returning on 11 January 2021. If you have any forms/documents to submit, please submit them electronically to the same email address. For 2021 enrolment, students wanting to access their study plans as well as majors, minors and electives, can do so at our study plans page.

Advice Sessions

For new students, there will be enrolment advice sessions from late January 2020 which will provide you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your enrolment.

Forms

If you need to submit any forms, our forms can be accessed here. During the closure period, students can complete the timetable clash, unit overload and course or class full resolution forms which will be responded to once staff have resumed work on 11 January 2021.

Internships

The internships office will be closed from the 18 December until 4 January, returning on 5 January 2021. Internship advice drop in sessions will be available fortnightly from 12 November on Tuesdays from 4 PM to 4:30 PM and fortnightly from 16 November on Mondays from 4 PM to 4:30 PM.
