It’s a wrap – Faculty of Arts Orientation Day

On Tuesday 23 Feb we were thrilled to welcome our new 2021 students on campus!

Executive Dean Professor Jennie Shaw gave a warm introduction to our newbies in Elder Hall, followed by presentations from support services (Peer Mentors, Student Support Academic Mentors (SSAMs), the Writing Centre, and Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)). The fresh-faced cohort attended program information sessions and were blessed with superb weather for a campus tour. Songbird Chloe Warrick strummed sumptuous tunes for the sensibly distanced crowd enjoying lunch provided by Arts in the Ingkarni Wardli atrium.
It was a delight to witness the new students just beginning their university journey and hear the campus buzz with the vibe of a new academic year.

Many thanks to the Arts Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement team who organised the day, and the student peer mentors and key professional staff who assisted to make it such a successful day.
