Project (VR-lunar rover)

This project looks at the role of cognitive load on VR design and learning outcomes.

Teacher Education

This project is being offered at the North Terrace campus of the University of Adelaide on a full time basis. There is no scholarship attached to this project. Domestic students are entitled to a full fee waiver but international applicants are warmly welcomed.

About this Project.

The project looks at the role of cognitive load on the learning outcomes gained from VR scenarios. Through a series of design modifications to existing scenarios, the student researcher will apply different levels of cognitive load to a lunar rover scenario. The impacts of these changes will be measured in terms of development time and design changes and the learning outcomes from the scenario. The researcher will be expected to look at assessment design in the VR scenarios to ensure it is appropriate and make modifications where necessary.
