Leading positive change in education
Associate Professor Mathew White delivers Masterclass at 4th Positive Education Schools Association Conference.
Associate Professor Mathew White was invited to present a Masterclass focusing on Leading Positive Change in Education at the Positive Education Schools Association 4th National Conference at Geelong Grammar School 11-14 April 2018.
Over 820 delegates heard from the founder of positive psychology Professor Martin Seligman, strength-based parenting expert Professor Lea Waters, Professor Toni Noble and Dr Abdulla Al Karam the Director General from the KHDA in Dubai. Interest in how to integrate wellbeing education in schools has grown exponentially over the past four years.
With over 1200 members the Positive Education Schools Association is a not-for-profit Association established in 2013 to lead, promote and foster the implementation and development of Positive Education, to enable all students, schools and communities to flourish. As well as a national focus the Association has State and Territory Chapters in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the ACT. Associate Professor Mathew White is serving a second term as the Chair of the South Australian Chapter and was previously Secretary.
