Regional Scholarship Program

The Open Music Academy (OMA) is proud to announce its Regional Scholarship program, assisting students from across South Australia to access the world class resources of the Elder Conservatorium of Music.

The Scholarships provide financial and logistical support to enable students, their teachers and family members to attend OMA activities. Subsidised activities include weekly 1:1 lessons, fortnightly ensemble sessions, and regular workshops, masterclasses and public performances. In order to relieve some of the pressures involved in travelling to Adelaide on a weekly basis, the OMA is happy to offer a mix of Skype and real time lessons.

Students of all levels are welcome to apply with advanced level students being eligible for our Local Stars program.

Please note, if wishing to be considered for a place in the Local Stars program, students must be at AMEB Grade Level 5 or equivalent, provide a teacher recommendation and a short video of a performance – 5 minutes or less).
