Sia Furler Institute Scholarship

The Sia Furler Institute Scholarship has been established as a result of a donation from Professor Jennie Shaw. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance to students in financial need with education and living costs for one year of the Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Media or the Diploma of Music programs.

Financial need

Video clip

Applicants are required to produce a short (1 minute) video clip which outlines why they seek to complete the Music and Media course; outlines how they feel their degree will benefit them in their professional endeavours; defines the special qualities they feel they would bring to the degree.

The video clip must be uploaded to YouTube and can be created as ‘unlisted’. Instructions on how to create an unlisted YouTube video are available.

I declare that the information I have supplied on this form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.  

I understand that if I am awarded the scholarship and the University of Adelaide at any time thereafter forms the reasonable view that my application included false or misleading information or documentation, the scholarship may be cancelled by the University of Adelaide and any funds I have been paid must be refunded.  

I authorise the University of Adelaide to obtain such additional information deemed necessary to assess my application for this scholarship.  

I understand that the University of Adelaide will not disclose any information supplied on the application form or obtained for the selection process without written consent of the applicant. The information supplied will only be used for the selection process of this scholarship program and will be managed in accordance with the University of Adelaide Privacy Policy and Management Plan.

I understand that if I am awarded and accept the scholarship, I will be obliged to comply with the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
