One of Beethoven’s earlier works, the Quartet for Strings in B-flat Major could be mistaken for one of his later pieces with its great contrast, delicacy and overall genius.
Performed here by the much treasured Australian String Quartet, it’s paired with a new work, The Red Quartet, by Elder Conservatorium honours student Lauren McCormick.
