Dave McEvoy Album Launch and Then Now When at Hal's Hall

First Set:

Lauren Henderson (voice), Dave McEvoy (piano), Sam Anning (double bass) and Kyrie Anderson (drums) come together to perform music from the album Seasons. Released in February 2024, it is described by ABC Jazz as 'an introspective date showcasing [McEvoy's] folk-inspired jazz tunes'.

These four wonderful musicians, who recorded together in Audrey Studios in Melbourne, are taking the opportunity of all being in the same city to perform the music live for the first time. Dave McEvoy compose d the pieces, the lyrics by Dave, Fleur Green and Mike McEvoy. The inspired artistry of Henderson, Anning, and Anderson brings the music to life in an illuminating and profound way.
 

Second Set:

An all-star collaborative trio of award-winning virtuoso instrumentalists (Sam Anning, bass/guitars; Theo Carbo, guitars; Kyrie Anderson, drums) find new modes of expression through improvisation, composition and interplay.
