Teachers and students from across the South East of the state gathered at Tenison Woods College over the weekend of September 14 and 15 for a busy and stimulating weekend of workshops, open rehearsals, performances, masterclasses and professional development sessions. Participants came from a wide range of schools, both public and private. These included Tenison Woods College, Yahl Primary School, Grant High, McDonald Park Primary School, Sunrise Christian School, St Martins Lutheran College, North Primary School, Reidy Park Primary School, Newbury Park Primary School, Naracoorte Primary School, Mt Gambier High School and Glen Burnie Primary School. 

In total 92 participants engaged in the Open Music Academy activities, which included an interactive String Session, two Piano Masterclasses, four Creative Music Workshops and two Teacher Professional Development Sessions.
