Dylan and Christopher Crismani's 'Barrabarra' on Display at Samstag Museum of Art

On Thursday 6 June Samstag launched its Kudlila season with Mulka Yata (The Knowledge of Place) which features a sonambient sculpture titled Barrabarra (to make a rushing noise) by Dylan and Christopher Crismani jointly commissioned by Arts SA and Samstag Museum of Art. The piece responds to the work of Adnyamathanha artist Kristian Coulthard's work and crosses the boundary between musical instrument and visual-art sculpture. Admission to the Mulka Yata exhibition is free, Tuesday to Saturday 10am–5.00pm until Friday 20 September 2024.
