LA Philharmonic Wind Quintet in Residence
Next week, we have the special privilege of hosting five outstanding musicians – Denis Bouriakov (flute), Ricardo Barbosa Pereira (oboe), Boris Allakhverdyan (clarinet), Whitney Crockett (bassoon), and decorated ECM alumnus Andrew Bain (horn) – from the LA Philharmonic Wind Quintet for a special residency at the Elder Conservatorium from Tuesday 24–Friday 27 September. They'll work with and alongside our students, in rehearsals, masterclasses, and individual lessons.
Open Rehearsal
Ahead of their lunchtime concert, hear the LA Philharmonic Wind Quintet working with our students in a free rehearsal open to the public, on Thursday 26 September from 4.30–6.30pm in Elder Hall.
