Survey of Musicians Teaching in South Australia
Are you a musician who is currently (or was previously) working as a teacher in a school, for a commercial provider, the VET sector, or privately?
We invite you to participate in a research project led by University of Canberra in partnership with Arts South Australia. The survey is part of an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project 'New approaches to measuring Australia's creative workforce: Beyond the Census'.
The purpose of the study is to measure Australia's Creative Workforce – particularly those who are classified as embedded creatives, in this case musicians working in education.
We want to understand the career trajectories and motivations of musicians working in schools and the wider education sector, the skills and innovations they bring to their work, and the impact of their work on their employers and the curriculum.
The online survey takes about 20 minutes to perform.
