Dr Oliver Fartach-Naini Awarded 2025 UNESCO Adelaide City of Music International Collaboration Award

On Thursday 7 November, Dr Oliver Fartach-Naini (Associate Director of Postgraduate Coursework Programs and Senior Lecturer in Guitar and Pedagogy) was announced as the winner of the 2025 UNESCO Adelaide City of Music International Collaboration Award. This award is in recognition of his sustained commitment to building creative and professional relationships with South Korea, especially Daegu and Tonyeong, both UNESCO Cities of Music. Oliver's collaborative music making with South Korean guitarist Lee Song-Ou began in 1990. Ever since there have been countless visits to South Korea, including concert, recording and teaching commitments as well as concert tours with Elder Conservatorium guitar students in 2010, 2017, and 2023. Congratulations, Oliver, for this well-deserved award!
