Sara Duhig, Euan Safey and Joseph Hie Selected for 2025 Australian Conducting Academy

Congratulations to current Elder Conservatorium conducting students Sara Duhig, Euan Safey and Joseph Hie, who have been selected to take part in the 2025 Australian Conducting Academy (ACA)!

In partnership with the professional symphony orchestras across Australia, the national Australian Conducting Academy (ACA) is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of home-grown conductors and ensuring the sustainability of the orchestral industry in Australia. The program director of the ACA for 2025 is Benjamin Northey, a world-class Australian conductor who is currently the Chief Conductor of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Principal Conductor, Artistic Advisor Learning and Engagement of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
