Elder Conservatorium Bachelor of Music (Popular Music) alumna Alexia Damokas (aleksiah) has been selected to perform at the 2025 Primavera Pro showcase in Barcelona on Friday 6 June. Primavera is a prestigious music festival and showcase conference and an excellent platform for artists looking to build exposure within the European and Spanish-speaking markets.

With her bold lyrics, aleksiah has managed to connect with young Australian audiences. She embraces the imperfections of growing up in the digital age and fuses genres from the 2000s. Her fresh, attitude-filled style makes her one of the most promising artists on the Australian pop scene. She has worked with renowned collaborators, such as producer Konstantin Kersting, internationally known for his work on 'Dance Monkey' by Tones and I. In November last year, aleksiah dominated the SA Music Awards, picking up Best New Artist, Best Solo Artist, People's Choice for Most Popular Pop Artist, and the Emily Burrows Award.
