2025 APRA AMCOS Art Music Award Nominations Announced

On Thursday 17 July, APRA AMCOS announced the nominations for the 2025 Art Music Awards. We're particularly thrilled to see several of our staff and alumni receiving nominations for their works and/or performances, including our Adjunct Lecturer in Composition, Dr Anne Cawrse; alumnus Jakub Jankowski (Bachelor of Music with Honours in Composition; Graduate Diploma in Conducting); alumna Dr Gabriella Smart (PhD, 2018); our Ensemble-in-Residence, the Australian String Quartet; and the Adelaide Chamber Singers, featuring alumni Christie Anderson (Artistic Director and Conductor), Emma Borgas, Brooke Window, Victoria Coxhill, Georgie Simmons, Rachel Bruerville, Emma Woehle, Courtney Day, Kit Tonkin, Rhys Williams, Aidan Foyel, Jonathan Bligh, and Nikolai Leske. The annual Art Music Awards are presented by the APRA AMCOS in conjunction with the Australian Music Centre (AMC) to recognise achievement in the composition, performance, education, and presentation of Australian music. The 2025 Art Music Awards will be held at City Recital Hall, Gadigal land on Thursday 21 August.
