Baroque Academy Student and Faculty Concert 2024

Adelaide Baroque are delighted to be partnering again with the Elder Conservatorium to host our fourth annual Baroque Academy. Adelaide Baroque's core musicians along with some of the most celebrated Australian baroque performers and teachers will present a significant four-day intensive and immersive experience, open to secondary and tertiary students and young professionals. The second of two Adelaide Baroque Academy concerts features the outstanding academy faculty performing alongside the academy students.

Presented by the 2024 Graduating Class and first-year students of the Elder Conservatorium.

Lunchtime Concert - Welcome Winds

An outstanding opportunity to hear some of the world’s best wind players performing side-by-side with our own Elder Conservatorium students. Featuring decorated alumnus Andrew Bain, principal horn of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and four of his esteemed colleagues from the LA Phil, in a program presenting highlights from Dvořák, Gounod, and Jean Françaix.

Postgraduate Research Day

The Elder Conservatorium's Postgraduate Research Day is an opportunity for all our current candidates and supervisors to get together and discuss their research and topics of mutual interest. It's also an opportunity for students who are thinking about applying for a postgraduate research degree (HDR) to find out what it's all about. This fully catered event is open to all candidates, supervisors, as well as prospective candidates.
