On Monday 3 March, the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM) launched a new song book with the Kaurna community and Kaurna Warra Pintyanthi entitled Yurikurringa Ngadluku Paltirna: Listen to Our Songs.

The new book was launched as part of the University's Kaurna Day event and featured performances by Jamie Goldsmith and Taikurtinna Dance, Jaylon Newchurch, Tilly Tjala Thomas, Katie Aspel, DEM MOB, and ECM Jazz students.

The new song book, a contemporary re-working of Kaurna Paltinna (1999), will serve as a new and revitalised language learning resource for schools in the Kaurna Plains region. It features a number of new songs as well as studio productions of the older songs from the 1990s. As part of the promotion of the new resource the book will be featured on display in the City of Adelaide's ArtPod from April to June 2025.
