2026 Akaroa Music Festival Lineup Announced

The artist lineup for the 19th International Akaroa Music Festival (Saturday 3–Sunday 11 January 2026) has recently been announced. Under the artistic direction of Elder Conservatorium Cello Lecturer and Open Music Academy (OMA) Associate Director Edith Salzmann, the festival will showcase no less than six ECM faculty members, including Dr Elizabeth Layton (violin), Dr Stephen King (viola), Edith Salzmann (cello), Professor Anna Goldsworthy (piano), Stephanie Acraman (voice) and Teddy Tahu Rhodes (voice).
