Celebrating Our Colleagues: Grayson Rotumah

Grayson Rotumah, Co-Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM) was recently profiled in the University of Adelaide's 'Celebrating our colleagues' series. In the interview, Grayson talks about his childhood growing up as part of the Bundjalung community, his musical heroes, and how he came to find himself working and teaching in Adelaide. 'CASM has opened these doors and put me in places where it's pushed me outside of that shell of thinking about myself as an individual artist – going into communities like that and empowering Indigenous mob where there is no light, that's the power of this position.
