Jakub Jankowski's 'The Orchid and the Wasp' Premiered and Recorded by the Wattleseed Ensemble
Elder Conservatorium alumnus Jakub Jankowski's new work The Orchid and the Wasp was given its first performances by the Wattleseed Ensemble on Friday 14–Sunday 16 February in a program celebrating local South Australian composers, championing the natural environment, and their unique melding of Baroque, folk and contemporary styles.
