Lunchtime Concert - She Speaks

The beloved Australian String Quartet join Noriko Tadano, a master of the shamisen; a three-stringed long-necked Japanese instrument derived from the Chinese sanxian, played with a plectrum called a bachi and a traditional instrument of the geisha.

Join the students of the Elder Conservatorium's Chamber Music class as they present their end of semester Chamber Music Showcase on the afternoon of Tuesday 11 June in Elder Hall. This entirely student-lead initiative features ensembles presenting a vast array of music from Carulli to Debussy over the course of two blockbuster concerts (1.00pm and 3.30pm). Come along and support these future stars of chamber music!
