OMA Opening concert

The Open Music Academy (OMA), led by Edith Salzmann, hosted an inspiring concert in Elder Hall on Saturday 22 February, launching its new program. Approximately 150 attendees enjoyed a wonderful program which brought together staff and students of the OMA and the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Highlights included performances by 13-year-old violinist George Graham Kay, the OMA String Quartet, and newly-formed OMA ensembles. The audience also got a preview by Elizabeth Layton, Stephen King and Edith Salzmann (all teachers within the program) of a trio which will feature in the inaugural Ensemble Lumen concert, as part of the Adelaide Festival's Daylight Express series. Congratulations to all for a successful event and an exciting program launch.
