Masterclass with Harumi Rhodes from the Takács Quartet (Musica Viva Australia)

Yuyao Wan in the Altamira Guitar Competition

Open Music Academy (OMA) student Yuyao Wan performed in the prestigious Altamira Guitar Competition, hosted by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Yuyao was one of six finalists nationwide, and was the only high-school aged student to compete against graduates and university students.

Lloyd Van't Hoff to Join the Doric String Quartet in Musica Viva Australia Tour in 2026

Our Head of Woodwinds, Lloyd Van't Hoff, will join the internationally acclaimed London-based Doric String Quartet for a national tour for Musica Viva Australia in 2026, performing in Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide and Perth from Wednesday 15–Tuesday 28 June.

ECM Flute Students Triumph in the Adelaide Eisteddfod
