Carl Crossin and Gondwana Choirs Tour Canada and the USA
Associate Professor Carl Crossin OAM recently returned from a two-week concert tour (Wednesday 22 January–Thursday 6 February) to Canada and the USA with Gondwana Choirs – one of Australia's two national youth choirs.

Seraphim Trio Europe Tour
Between Sunday 2 February–Sunday 23 February, Elder Conservatorium Director Anna Goldsworthy enjoyed a whirlwind tour of Europe with colleagues Helen Ayres and Timothy Nankervis as part of Seraphim Trio: one of Australia's most longstanding ensembles, founded at the Elder Conservatorium in 1995.
Wagner Society Opportunity
Barbara Ferguson, a long-time member of the Richard Wagner Society of SA (RWSSAA) and a keen supporter of young artists, is offering membership of the Society and attendance at Society events to students who are interested in Wagner and wish to expand their exposure to this composer.
Edith Salzmann and Elder Conservatorium Cello Students in Christchurch and Akaroa
Cello lecturer Edith Salzmann and Elder Conservatorium students AJ Singh, Henry Say, Chiara Kelle, Eamonn Daly and Sam Strelan made the trip over to Christchurch, New Zealand for a week from Saturday 25 January–Saturday 1 February.

From Wednesday 5–Sunday 9 February, our Head of Woodwinds, Lloyd Van't Hoff, performed in the Bendigo Chamber Music Festival (directed by Chris Howlett and Howard Penny) amongst an exceptional lineup of artists.

Elizabeth Layton and Edith Salzmann in Thailand
Dr Elizabeth Layton (Head of Classical Performance) and cello lecturer Edith Salzmann travelled to Thailand in January for an extensive recital and masterclass tour in collaboration with Silpakorn University, Bangkok.

My Chérie Announced as Nexus 2025 Interplay Program Participant
Nexus Arts' Interplay program offers a unique forum for contemporary musicians from culturally diverse and First Nations backgrounds to develop their practice, networks, and community. Interplay provides individualised and group-based development activities over the course of one year. The program aims to provide dedicated space for artists to develop, share and connect, bringing contemporary musicians together in the spirit of intercultural communication, exploration and creation.
